After studying for 6 months or 1 year (depending on course duration) the Student Visa be converted (for purposes of Industrial attachment) to Training Work Permit. It is a valid Work Visa and the Internship will be paid from around S$800 to S$1,400. There are opportunities for absorption by the company based on student performance during internship. In such cases, the company can apply for “S Pass”, a 2 Year Work pass with a minimum salary of S$ 3000. This is not guaranteed but based on performance and on a case by case basis.
